Beltane     May 1st

Mabon    Sept. 25th

Workshop:

The Tantra of Beltane

This workshop will explore the many meanings of the Sacred Union of the God and Goddes.  By definition Tantra means  “ an accumulation of practices and ideas which has among its characteristics the use of ritual, energy work, the use of the mundane to access the supramundane and the identification of the microcosm with the macrocosm. The Tantric practitioner seeks to use the divine power that flows through the universe (including their own body) to attain purposeful goals. These goals may be spiritual, material or both.’ This energy is the foundation of sexual, alchemical ad spiritual union. Join us as we take a look at the rich symbolism of this Sabbat and use its energy to consummate our Sacred Union with the Divine.

Ritual:

We celebrate the consummate union of the God and Goddess in their aspects as Youth and Maiden.  We call to the nature spirits of the land to enliven and bless this union and bring the fires of passion and quickening into our lives as we walk the Path.

Workshop: Opening to the Anima Mundi (World Soul)

This workshop will discuss the inter-connectedness of all living creatures. The Anima Mundi is a “pure ethereal spirit diffused throughout all nature, regarded by ancient philosophers as being the divine essence which embraces and energizes all life in the universe”. It is the Soul of the World which animates and informs all things. Using this understanding we will have greater connection to nature and those animal guides that share our world.

Ritual:

This, the second harvest is the completion of what was reaped at Lammas.  The Sabbat of Mabon is the stirrings of sunset as the Sun begins its descent into the Underworld.  All life- animal, human and other are called to provide their collective resources to ensure sustainability in the dark nights ahead. We call to our animal guides and embrace our basic instincts of survival, slowing down in pace with nature and turning within.

Lammas   July 31st

Samhain     Oct. 23rd

Workshop:

Sitting in the Place of Sacrifice

What does “sacrifice” truly mean and how can we use it’s nature of potentiality as Magickal Beings.  Just as John Barleycorn willingly dies, so must we open ourselves to the place of sacrifice within that sits at the threshold of spiritual transformation.

Ritual:

The first harvest is upon us and the sacrifice of the God weighs heavily.  We are ready to give way to that which needs release and reap the rewards of what has been sown in the months prior.  Stand before the God of Sacrifice and Mother Goddess. Release and receive from the bounty of the harvest that which will sustain through the dark months ahead.

            Yule   Dec. 4th

Workshop:  The Inner Awakening

This is the time of reaffirming the light within and awaiting the birth of an awakened mind, heart and spirit.  We will discuss the metaphorical and esoteric meaning of the return of the light and the birth of the Sun King and what steps we may take to nurture the burgeoning light within as we sit silently in the darkness of the longest night.

Ritual:

This turn of the Wheel marks the transition inward in preparation for the Light Half of the Year. We call to the "Sun Child" as illuminator of the way on the longest and darkest night.   Our calls to the Goddess as the White Lady bring renewed hope that what lays dormant and deep within will be germinated- quickened and blossom with the tides of Spring.

Workshop: Drinking From the Cauldron of Knowledge

We all desire greater knowledge, but often neglect the responsibility that is partner to gaining more wisdom. The Witch’s Pyramid is based on the precepts:  To Know- To Will- To Dare and To Be Silent. Topics of this workshop will include: To know the steps towards greater knowledge - The Will towards embracing transformation- To Dare to step on the path to the Higher  SELF -  and The Silence of crossing through the Gates of true Gnosis.

Ritual:

The veils are thinnest and the energy of this final harvest moves towards turning within. We enter the realms of the Underworld to seek guidance from our ancestors and guides.  We draw wisdom from Cerridwen's cauldron and spiral to return to our place within the physical world- now transformed.
